The Big Sky Resort Area District appropriates resort tax funding on an annual basis. The funding supports local services and programs including tourism development, infrastructure facilities, post office services, emergency services, public transportation systems, parks and trails, community library; and other services that provide for the public health, safety and welfare within the Big Sky Resort Area District.
The application process for the 2008-2009 funding year is now closed. Funding awards have been announced and a complete list of the services funded are posted on our News page.
If you received Resort Tax funding for the 2008-2009 funding year and wish to submit a payment request, please download the Payment Request and Summary Form and submit with valid invoices to the District office.
Applications, time line, and instructions for the 2009-2010 funding year will be available here in February 2009.
